ELO MIRRORS

In the new mirrors collection, Pani Jurek explores ceramics and the reflective potential of mirror surfaces. Inspired by the ripple effect on water, the sculptural frames mimic the expanding circles that appear after a splash. The ceramic elements are airbrushed glazed by hand, which gives them a unique, artisanal character. The name "ELO" is a playful nod to Polish slang for "hello," referring to the greeting between you and your reflection in the mirror.

Pani Jurek straddles the border between fine arts, craft and design. Applied art objects are created in an artisanal manner.

The brand was established in 2010 by Magda Jurek, artist and designer. A painting graduate, she thinks of her objects as signs, sculptures or installations, treating them also as tools for building abstract compositions. Utility forms can also be a means of expression, like colors, stains, textures, shapes.
