From the first sketch to the finished piece, each is designed, prototyped, and brought to life in an old tenement house in Grójec, just outside Warsaw, Poland
We create our own plaster molds, which form the basis for slip casting. Liquid clay is poured, shaped, and gradually transformed into a solid form. Before the first firing, each piece is carefully hand-finished in a process we call mizianie /miˈʑaɲe/- a slow, tactile smoothing of its surface.

After the initial firing, the pieces are glazed by hand. Subtle variations shaped by the human hand and kiln atmosphere are an inherent part of the process. The final firing reveals the result, never entirely repeatable.
The process is artisanal, but based on carefully developed techniques. Each stage is controlled, with a very small tolerance for variation.
